Materials: Native tanned deerskin; buffalo rawhide; red, white and blue (two shades) glass pony beads; porcupine quills; tin cones and horsehair; sinew sewn.
Description: Rare early bag ornamented with two rows of blue pony beads above the quill wrapped rawhide slats; further bead decoration along edges and top of bag; tin cones and horsehair ornaments are fastened to the short hide fringe.
Dimensions: Length 27 inches 68 cm; Width 6.5 inches 16 cm.
