Materials: Native tanned hide; rawhide (moose?); dyed and natural porcupine quills; dyed moose (?) hair; red wool trade cloth; red glass seed beads.

Description: Front and back of pouch decorated in similar fashion with two horizontal strips of loom woven quillwork with quillwrapped and dyed hair fringe. Edge of bag decorated with similar fringe. Pouch lined with red wool cloth.

Dimensions: Height 5.5 inches 14 cm.

Provenance:

Collected by George Holt between 1768 and 1771 while employed by the Hudson Bay Company.
Presented to Dr. Andrew Gifford in 1775, then donated to a Baptist Academy in Bristol, England.
