Description: Jump dance basket; willow warps, wefts of conifer root and half-twist overlay in beargrass and maidenhair fern stem, twined as a flat rectangle with rows of bands and shaped intoa tube over willow rods. Ends closed with buckskin and buckslin tassels. The "jumping dance" is a world-renewal dance of the Hupa.
