Description: Two piece halibut fishhook with a halibut effigy carved into the top piece. The size of the "V" opening and the distance of the bone hook to the opposite arm dictated the size of the fish that could be caught. Too large of a fish would have been to heavy for a single fisherman and too small of a fish would have begun to deplete the reproductive stock.
Dimensions: Length 9.5 inches
