Description: Relatively short unfletched sealing dart, to be thrown with an atlatl, probably by a hunter seated in a kayak. The heavy forpiece would add weight to this dart, causing the barbed point to penetrate the prey. The ivory point is attached to the shaft with twine, which would allow the point to detach on impact with the prey.
