Description: The Zunis were the first Pueblos visited by the Spanish. Originally consisting of several villages, Zuni is now a single town. Zuni pottery, like that made at Acoma and Laguna, is tempered with crushed potsherds. These old potsherds, sometimes ancient, often serve as inspiration for the potters' designs.
