Description: Cochiti Pueblo is located along the Rio Grande River between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. This storage olla has strong, bold decoration with geometric and floral decorations on a white slip. Before World War I, a red band circled the lower part of Cochiti pots; later, the entire bottoms were painted red.
